Responsible of the: Pharmacy Information Technology, Pharmacy Distribution and Pharmacy Patient Services.Pharmacy ITI manage a group of software developers and analysts in strategic development and maintenance of software and systems architecture using best practice and innovative models. We have a variety of pharmacy specific servers that host several of our bespoke pieces of software. Our applications are written in VB, C#, and javascript, and use various webserver technology including SQL and IIS. The team manages over 30 applications including in house developed business continuity systems, dispensing software, tracking systems, formulary and web pages.Pharmacy Patient and Distribution ServicesResponsible for the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy services to patients in line with professional, regulatory, and legal requirements within the 5 pharmacy dispensaries and MHRA wholesale dealers licensed warehouse. The team consists of approximately 80 WTE staff of various roles and grades.

This involves: -Development and review of an Education Strategy that is in line with governance, provides public value and covers the needs of the workforce of the future.-Development and implementation of local and national educational programmes.- Ensuring quality standards are met including resource, appropriately trained supervisors, selection of candidates and monitoring of progress. - Leading on various apprenticeship and HEE funded programmes- Chair of the Local Faculty Group Meeting- A1 accredited NVQ assessor
