• In this tenure I completed drydock in shanghai china I was responsible for making extensive daily reports regarding all the work that was carried out in the Dry Dock.• Assisted in the day-to-day operation of the ship's engine room, including taking performance of main engine, Aux. Engine , and various equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.• Responsible for inventory management of shipboard machinery spare parts and lubricating oil of various grades present on board the ship.• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and procedures is crucial. This includes participating in safety drills, maintaining firefighting equipment, and following proper safety protocols during maintenance and repair activities.

Sailed on Crude Oil & Chemical Tankers-Assisting in Engine Room operations and maintenance of main engines, auxiliary engines, and other machinery. Monitor engine room equipment and reporting abnormalities to senior engineers.Perform routine inspections and rounds, noting down operational data for performance assessment.-Learning and assist in troubleshooting and repairing equipment like pumps, compressors, boilers, and purifiers. Perform basic mechanical tasks like lubrication, cleaning, and replacement of minor parts.-Familiarize with safety protocols related to tanker operations, including emergency systems, firefighting systems, and other systems. Assist with the inspection and maintenance of safety equipment like fire extinguishers, life-saving equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).-Understand the operational procedures for cargo pumps, stripping pumps, and heating systems used on crude oil and chemical tankers and learned about safe handling, transfer, and management of cargo. -Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, machinery operation parameters, and any incidents. Learn how to use maintenance management software (Planned Maintenance System, or PMS) for scheduling and documenting tasks.-Assist the 2nd Engineer, 3rd Engineer, and Chief Engineer in their daily duties and during emergency situations.
