• Design, develop and deliver training programs on various aspects of the insurance business• Draw out and monitor the implementation of a training calendar• Participate in developing course contents in respect of external training programs, based on gap analysis from business/ management requirements and competency/ skill level of employees.• Assist business drivers in coaching employees post training delivery• Follow up on and assess new departmental needs of employees and draw out a training needs analysis per employee• Evaluate and report on post training performance• Roll out regular assessment tasks in view of capturing personal effectiveness and competency levels• Assess effectiveness of training modules, workshops and seminars and make recommendations for improvement thereof• Maintain training and developments records conformant to the records management standards of the Company• Amend and revise training programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment;• Help line managers and trainers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups;• Have an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the creation and/or delivery or e-learning packages.• Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices and process to improve the efficiency of training services offered.• Maintain and keep up to date the company’s knowledge library and other such platforms.
