I worked in the Federal and SA Governments sponsored Healthy Coorong, Healthy Basin (HCHB) project based on the development of a wetland management strategy for the South-East region in South Australia. My work was particularly focused on the processing of Geospatial and satellite remote sensing datasets to characterize wetlands based on water coverage, vegetation, and water depth criteria, which enabled the development of a decision-making framework for the restoration and management of wetland ecosystem.

I was involved in multiple projects based on exploring solutions for the optimal use of Geospatial data acquired by the Forest Industry. My work was based on monitoring forest plantation properties using UAV-borne sensors (LiDAR, High resolution RGB, Hyperspectral, Thermal) and airborne LiDAR datasets. It involved the development of machine learning and statistical models to detect and predict plantation growth in the spatial and temporal domains.
