Senior Product Owner
Current• Collaborate with Product Managers to define, prioritize, and refine product features, ensuring clarity on feature descriptions, scope, Definition of Done (DoD), and dependencies for each feature.• Prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with the Program Team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and company goals.• Develop and maintain the product roadmap, outlining the planned features and functionalities, aligning with long-term product strategy and business goals.• Manage / maintain the product backlog, ensuring visibility of upcoming work and providing a clear roadmap for the next 6 months of development. Regularly groom and prioritize backlog items to reflect the most valuable features.• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, converting them into well-defined user stories with detailed acceptance criteria, test cases, and DoD.• Lead feature refinement sessions with the Scrum team, helping to break down complex features, estimate story points, assign stories to sprints, and proactively identify and address risks and dependencies.• Maintain and prioritize the defect backlog, working with relevant teams to categorize and address defects based on severity, criticality, and impact on user experience and functionality.• Lead product demonstrations during system demos, showcasing newly developed capabilities, addressing stakeholder queries, and ensuring the alignment of the product with business needs.• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure all functionalities and defect fixes meet the defined requirements, quality standards, and user expectations.• Mentor and support junior Product Owners, providing guidance on best practices, prioritization techniques, and product management processes to help them grow in their roles.• Provide training and support to end users on new features, enhancements, or changes to existing functionalities, ensuring successful adoption and usage of the product.
