My name is Pankajkumar Devganiya and I have had completed my master's in computational science andelectrical engineering at the University of Rostock. During my master’s degree, I was always fascinated by thedesign, Electromagnetic simulations and coding. It triggered me to widen up my interest in Microwave cavities and RF, so I decided to continue my career in the field of Electromagnetic Engineering. I am firmly convinced that the experience of participating in this program will provide me with a valuable platform to make a significant contribution to the field of Electrical Engineering.I have completed my master thesis under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Rer. Nat. habil. Ursula van Rienen chair ofElectrical engineering department. The optimization of a quadrupole Resonator (Current design of theHelmholtz – Zentrum Berlin) optimized using CST studio, MATLAB, and ANSYS workbench. The project has given me considerable insight into electromagnetic flow inside the RF cavities. Structure behavior of QPRcalculated while different loading conditions by using ANSYS Workbench. Sensitivity analysis performed using MATLAB to examine the uncertainty of objective function due to the uncertainty of geometric parameters. I have undertaken vocational training to learn the industrial use of PLC and SCADA programming. By using that knowledge I have built a physical model of a three-floor elevator which is operated by Siemens PLC as my bachelor thesis. During academics, I have undergone few project in Electromagnetic field which made me experienced of working with simulation software. Moreover, I have worked a project in OpenFOAM. These projects that I have undertaken shows that I have experience in the computational approach of dealing with engineering problems.In addition to my technical skills, I offer a high degree of flexibility, good analytical and decision-making skills, self-confidence, and good conceptual skills and humorous I like to take on challenges and responsibilities. Due to my past experience in the Sales promoter, I am communicative and I enjoy working in a team. Besides, I'm always ready to learn new things.
