In August 2020 I finished my MSc Applied Mathematics (Stochastics) education at the TU Delft. Generally my interest in mathematics lies within most of its areas, but recently I have gained a particular interest in data science. Moreover I enjoy (private) tutoring in mathematics in which I have over 6 years of experience. Furthermore, during the completion of my BSc in Applied Mathematics, I successfully completed the Minor Education, after which I received a (limited) teaching degree in mathematics.I thought about pasting a ChatGPT reply here, but surely anyone would notice at first glance... right?When studying MSc Applied Mathematics at Delft University of Delft, I came into contact with the field of data science. By now I have several years (3+) of experience as a data scientist, but nonetheless I would not necessarily call myself a data scientist.No... it would rather be someone who loves to solve problems and puzzles. I enjoy acquiring as much technical knowledge as possible so that I can implement an optimal solution for each issue, taking into account best practices.For many problems, I use the programming languages R and Python. By implementing more and more solutions, I found that I especially enjoy programming, and of course that does not necessarily have to be in R or Python. Afterwards, I wanted to be able to build more and more things, such as my own website or a mobile app (to do). In my spare time, I took a web development course which I was very satisfied with. This introduced me to full-stack development with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and the stack of MongoDB, Express, React and Nodejs, and with this I have already created my own website, which I host on my own Raspberry Pi at home. I regularly work (unknowingly) through the night on projects of my own. Sometimes I even forget to eat!With the skills I have now, I feel like a bit of a jack-of-all-trades. Maybe that is also my strength, but on the other hand, I don't know which job is best for me. I learn and understand things quickly.
