About Panna Karlinger, Phd, Sfhea

I am a lecturer in education and childhood studies at the School of Education, Aberystwyth University, where I am currently completing my PhD in the topic of online abuse and cyberbullying. As part of my duties I plan, deliver and assess content for our undergraduate provision, supervise dissertation students and provide pastoral care as personal tutor and year tutor for Year 1. I oversee our departmental peer mentoring scheme and undergraduate marketing, including the recruitment and management of student ambassadors. My further responsibilities include mentoring within the department and the PGCTHE provision, research in the areas of digital education, technology-enhanced learning, and mathematics teaching, and I have been delivering CPD for our trainee lecturers since September 2023; I have successfully gained my SFHEA status in June 2024.
