Doing my military service, as a member of the Research and Informatics Corps of the Greek Military, I have worked in the Selection Office of the Combat Service Military Academy in Thessaloniki, participating in the computerization of the preliminary examinations procedure for the selection of candidates of Military Schools/Academies. My tasks involved populating, updating and manipulating the database (Microsoft Access), designing the user interface using Visual Basic and answering the public's questions on procedural issues.

Amphipoli News was the first site dedicated to informing the world about Amphipoli 's tomb excavation news, with daily reports from Kasta's Tomb in Amphipoli. My contribution to the project was as reporter, web editor and translator of the site and its content (including the press conferences of the Greek Culture Ministry) in English.
