• Research on new Indian middle class: Examined the agency of the New Indian Middle Class (case study: Mumbai) in the development of India from the perspective of its consumption and social participation. • Conducted a 3-month fieldwork in Mumbai, India. • Used multiple research methods (triangulation): literature review, interviewing, participant observation, GIS analysis.• Publication by Routledge (see publications overview) based on research findings.• Efficient project management: Administered a database of more than 40 research project participants, completing the research project 1 week ahead of schedule.
