Circles Life is a Telco technology company funded by Sequoia Capital, Founders Fund and Warburg Pincus. Started as the head of product, took over the data team a few months in leading 2 departments at Circles: - Product (Platform): Set hiring guidelines and built the platform product team of 8 at Circles. - Data: A team of around 30 (data analyst/scientist/engineers)My product team launched new countries, made our platform configurable, negotiated commercial deals and optimised revenue assurance metrics (like suspensions and collections). My team also owned the Circles fintech product. We also did pre-sales for our SaaS product - CirclesX, which was essentially the platform.As a part of growing the team, I guided and enabled my team members to mature to become managers themselves.

Igloo (formerly Axinan) is an insurtech startup backed by SingTel, Cathay Innovation and Partech among other investors.I joined Igloo at seed stage to establish and lead the product organisation. Built the product/design team of 8 based out of Singapore, Chengdu (China) and Taiwan. My team launched B2C, B2B and B2B2C products in many countries around APAC (and Australia). Our products brought Igloo from a pre-revenue stage (in 2018) to generating millions of policies a month by Q4 2019We closed Series A+ round of funding in Q1 2020. I left Igloo after the completion of our fund raising round.

honestbee is the leading grocery and food delivery company in SEA. I created new hiring processes for the product organisation to build a team of 12 based out of Singapore, Taiwan and India. My team led product management at honestbee as the company expanded X times and in 8 countries across APAC and launched multiple new product lines.Started honestbee’s product/technology development arm in India. I also directly managed 20+ engineers in our India product development centre as we looked to hire a site lead.

Roomorama.com was a short-term and vacation rental platform. The company offered tens of thousands of professionally-managed accommodation worldwide. Bridge Rentals was the B2B arm of Roomorama.Started as product lead and took over as VP of Product. I also eventually managed the operations team. My team managed core product responsibilities - for both B2C and B2B clients- this included overseeing Roomorama.com and its e-commerce functions, competing with platforms like AirBnB through strategies like SEO and SEM, and handling API connectivity with partners such as CTrip, Expedia, and Tujia.Unfortunately we could not raise enough funds to continue in spite of the best efforts of an amazing team. I, personally, learnt a lot from this failure.
