Paola has more than twenty years of managerial experience gained in both in profit and non profit organization. Since 1983, Paola has held a variety of responsibilities within a textile group. Since the 1990s she has been responsible for the marketing activities of he group. Her experiences include the setting up of sales organizations in Europe, Asia, and United States and the direct management of key global accounts. During the 1980s, for the same textile group Paola has held managerial positions in the accounting and human resources departments. As CFO she was responsible for the company’s investments in new production technology and information technology. In addition, as CFO of a, in the mid 1980s she sold a company’s manufacturing plant to the government of an Eastern European country.Through the years Paola has been a involved with a number of profit and non profit organizations. Among her experiences are the management of a real estate company and the establishment of a leasing company. From 1993 to 2000 she was the CEO of Biella Intraprendere, Inc. A non profit organization sponsored by private enterprises and by government agencies. The mission of the company is to promote the Biella’s industrial district. Paola was on the Board of the newspaper “Eco di Biella” until September 2006 and a member of the board of the Italian club of Industrial Districts until may 2006.In addition to her managerial responsibilities, since the very beginning of her career Paola has been very active within the association of he Italian Industrialists (CONFINDUSTRIA). Within this organization she has held a variety of responsibilities, including that of Vice President of the Board of the Piemonte district of the young entrepreneurs, President of the Biella Young Entrepreneurs Group, and member of the Board of the Biella District of Confindustria.Paola holds a degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing from Bocconi University, Milano.
