Mingle Seasoning was born from the idea of wanting to add flavour to meals but without all the nasties that are found in generic seasonings. Mingle is more than spice blends – it is a tool in the kitchen that keeps healthy eating fun, tasty, simple and enjoyable again!With a wide range of spices, sauces, seasonings and gravies, mingle has a variety of more than 40 products. I jumped into the project in August 2021, after meeting Jordyn Evans, owner and creator, to be the head of design across all brand touchpoints, from the packaging on the shelf to Instagram posts.

The internship provided me with my first exposure to the traditional professional world. In addition to enhancing my design and creative skills, I gained valuable insight into how agencies operate. I developed teamwork and collaboration skills while building relationships with other teams, and was given the autonomy to manage my workload and set priorities.I also gained a better understanding of all facets of advertising, working closely with the planning and writing teams, as well as assisting with commercial tasks. I was responsible for producing digital assets for social media, as well as graphic materials for events and exhibitions. Additionally, I contributed to the artistic direction of campaigns and brand visual identities.

During my freshman year in college, I served as the head of communication for the Student Union at the School of Communications and Arts at USP. My team consisted of around 20 individuals, and we worked collaboratively to achieve our goals. My primary responsibilities included designing and planning the entity's social media strategy to engage with as many students as possible. I also worked on designing and producing printed materials to support our events.In addition to my communicative duties, I assisted the Culture and Events teams with planning and documenting their activities.

During high school, I worked part-time as a tutor for elementary school students from 4th to 8th grade. I enjoyed the experience of teaching and felt proud of my students' progress. I tested different educational methods to spark their interest in the subjects, and I had several breakthrough moments with specific students. It was rewarding to see the relief in their eyes when they understood something for the first time or did well on tests. I remember hearing comments like "wow, no one has ever explained it to me like that before; now it makes so much more sense."At the school, I managed the afternoon call, responsible for five to seven students at a time. I also provided individual tutoring in Math, History, and English.
