- Software Quality Assurance Engineer for the ELT project: by applying recognized international standards for software quality assurance, I follow the work of two internal projects, two contracts and the four first light instruments consortia. - Software Tester for the ALMA project: I test the observing tool and participate in defining and improving the processes used in the New Generation Observing Tool (NGOT) project. For this project, I recently took on the role of “Product Owner”, according to the agile methodology. - Process Analysis and Modeling with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN): I participated in a working group and later, in a pilot project for introducing process specification and design at ESO. Starting with the analysis of four ESO processes, we modeled them with BPMN and highlighted areas of improvements with the aim at making the processes leaner and more efficient.

Coordination of the Integration and Test Subsystem (6 testers distributed among Japan, New Mexico and Garching)- Interaction with the Release Manager and ALMA Subsystems Leaders to coordinate priorities and schedules for the ALMA software releases- Definition of the integration and test procedures- Preparation of test plans and test reports for Management and Stakeholders- Execution of the tests and analysis of the results- Participation, in the first years of activities within the ALMA project, in establishing the software engineering standards for the ALMA computing group, together with the Software Engineering Subsystem.- Coordination of the Test Engineering Working Group for the ESO Software Development Division (7 testers working in various software projects handled by ESO)
