Meet an ambitious and passionate individual with a diverse set of skills and interests, in search of a Spring 2024 COOP or Internship! I held several positions in a range of industries, each one showcasing my talent for problem-solving and collaborative teamwork.As a Quality Control Engineer Assistant for Super Asphalt Pavement Corp., worked closely with field workers to extract asphalt cores and analyzed the improvement of the applied asphalt compared to the pre-existing asphalt mixture. Additionally, studied the effect of weathering on asphalt samples to predict its lifespan and contrasted the quality of the asphalt depending on the raw material source.During my time as an Operations Engineer for Carraizo Quarry "Cantera Carraizo Inc", conducted time-studies on heavy machinery operators to support management decision-making and optimized dispatch fulfillment to increase sales capacity by 5%. Furthermore, collaborated with the President of the company to decrease operations downtime and created maintenance scheduling for the company’s essential heavy machinery.My skills extend beyond the engineering industry as I also completed an internship as an Assistant Mechanic at Garage Europa Porsche Center Puerto Rico. During this time, assisted customers at the front desk, familiarizing themselves with the inventory of the dealership. Although mainly, collaborated with senior mechanics to resolve problems with automobiles, and even replaced the main wiring harness of a 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera S!Outside of work, this individual is passionate about community service and the environment. As an Assistant Coordinator of the "A Toda Costa" program for Scuba Dogs Society, coordinated Puerto Rico's largest underwater cleanup. Moreover, participated in beach cleanups at popular locations such as Ocean Park and Jobos Beach and volunteered for the Puerto Rico Lit Foundation's Hurricane Disaster Relief efforts.
