The Blank is a non-profit making cultural association created by Stefano Raimondi and developed with Elisabetta Brignoli, Paola Tognon, Maria Zanchi, Olga Vanoncini, Alice Panti, Cristina Rota and Paolo Faccini aiming to spread and enlarge passion and curiosity towards contemporary art in the city of Bergamo and its territory. Bicincittà is an automated bike sharing system.Through the use of an electronic pass, each individual user can take his/her bicycle from any bike-parking stand present in the city and return it wherever they find an open parking space - even in a different rack from the original. This system creates a rapid and flexible network of bikes in the city, where the cyclist utilizes a bicycle for less time than by automobile transport with the added benefit of reduced pollution.I have designed and developed the server system. It keeps every station of the system always connected. Now the system is used in 74 cities in Italy, 13 in Switzerland and 2 in Spain. It counts more than 500 stations.
