In charge of IT Architecture and security. Main tasks assigned during this period:- Sharing of a plan to develop systems based on the main goals of cost stability and efficiency achieved through: reviewing the architecture of the applications and infrastructure portfolio to identify the areas of action needed to resolve business problems and support development for the following three year period- Review of IT Security with the creation of a dedicated team with structured activities and processes.- Completion of the Identity Management project and introduction of an exacting automated process for the control of credentials.- Scouting for market solutions and study of a new CRM platform.Challenges: Reorganization of the area, people management, set up of the overall architecture and definition of Current/Target Status reports and Transition Action Plans, risk reduction.

In charge of developing and identifying requisites in addition to the management of the project plan. Coordinated project teams for the production of the following products:- Current accounts, investment funds,- Loans: Sale and proceedings with extranet broker network,The launch of these products also required integration with Risks, Monitoring, Credit Bureau and two new banking back-ends for the management of investments and current account services.Challenges: Management of expectations, negotiation of requisites, compliance with schedules, management of suppliers, team management, leadership.Also designed the following projects to develop systems and introduced a series of improvements to processes and development tools.- Introduction of a new approach to development leading to important savings for the C/A project alone and a third of development costs for all other projects.- Conversion and migration of the entire business layer for integration and security of business applications (900 interfaces) towards Windows 2000 – Websphere –JEE/EJB. 50% increase in overall performance.- Introduction of new development architecture, based on .NET for the production of front-end applications and integration of Document & Workflow mgm product. (IBM Filenet).- Design of new CRM software with reduction of IT and Call Center costs: 100% increase in application performance, 90% cut in load on systems and 5% reduction in the average time to manage calls.- Introduction of a new cycle of development with 30% increase in production capacity and a new testing process, with dedicated environment and source control tool (Clear Case).Challenges: Migration with no break in service, effective communication between in-house departments and commitment: Business vs. IT project, coaching, training for new skills, process definition.

Project Manager in charge of the consolidation of the system of payments, accounting for transactions on financial markets and creation of Credit- and Debit Card services. The project was terminated as a result of the tragic events of September 11th as the bank was unable to cope with the crash in the markets and subsequently closed. Worked with a select group of colleagues until October 2002 to complete closure of the accounts.Challenges: start-up of a bank, review of processes and accounting, project manager for credit and debit cards, closure of the bank.

In charge of designing the solution and managing the Application Management contract for the Corporate Banking product of CARIPLO / INTESA, installed by 20,000 businesses throughout the country, including 4,000 via internet. The contract included SLA and management of the help desk at level 2 (4 resources) in addition to level 1 help desk training.Challenges: Creation of a new product and management of a service.
