I'm an engineer and I like to solve problems. Throughout my career, I have immersed myself in the world of software development, gaining diverse perspectives along the way. My journey began in 2002 when I embarked on the development of clinical software using the J2EE platform. In 2003, I transitioned to ESTECO, where I delved into the realm of desktop software for multi-disciplinary design optimization—an engineering discipline known only to the initiated.As ESTECO expanded from a 10-person office into a global force with a presence in four countries, my role evolved in tandem. I assumed various responsibilities, including project management, R&D management, product management, engineering management, and technical project management. Today, my multifaceted role involves collaborating closely with the CTO and engineering managers to enhance the effectiveness of software development at ESTECO.My responsibilities extend to managing integrations with third-party software, ensuring seamless compatibility. I maintain a vigilant watch over software development and product management to keep them current and aligned. Additionally, I oversee software development and testing activities conducted in international offices. Thanks to ESTECO, I've also the privilege of sharing my passion by teaching Software Development Methods at the local university.So far, this journey has allowed me to explore and contribute to the ever-evolving landscape of software development, cultivating a deep understanding of its intricacies from various vantage points.
