Solutions were created, implemented within 45 days, and then used to prevent the same issues on future die tooling.

Supervisory training included two year rotation through pattern shop, machines, CAM room, blocking, finishing, and die verification on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.Maintained 100% on time shipping while supervising employees responsible for panel submittals to verify part quality. Part submittals were required five different times during the verification process.Achieved zero overtime grievance issues among the plant welders, down from 3 grievances per month, by meeting with the group and discussing their reasons for so many grievances and getting their input on how to manage the overtime equalization successfully from week to week.Increased suggestion program participation to 80%, up from less than 50% over the previous 5 years by engaging employees in open dialogue about their views on the negative and positive points of the program.
