Vasilios Pappas is a Food & Nutrition Scientist whose main field of activity is the Research and Development of new innovative food and beverage products. A graduate of the Department of Food Science and Nutrition of the University of the Aegean, he successfully completed a postgraduate program (MBA) in Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Management of Innovation in food businesses from the University of East London (UEL). He has been Head of the Research and Development Department at A.P.C.I. Pindos, undertook its establishment and initial staffing. Afterwards, he took over as Head of the Research and Development department of Condito SA. (R&D Manager). He has also collaborated with more than 10 Greek food and beverage companies as a Research, Development & Innovation Consultant and has developed more than 50 food products available on the Greek and European market. He has numerous participations in conferences and seminars as an invited speaker and research programs of Development and Innovation in the field of food products. Participates as a member of research groups in Funded Research Programs in the field of Agri-Food. He has been selected in the 100 most influential executives in the food industry for 2023 and in the 50 most important executives regarding innovation in the food industry for 2024.
