Francisco is an experienced economist and ESG specialist currently working as an ESG Analyst at the International Finance Corporation (IFC). With advanced studies in economics, finance, and international affairs, and extensive experience in academia, Mr. Parada has a strong background in quantitative analysis, econometrics, and statistics. He has conducted research in various fields, including international trade, development economics, and sustainable finance.At IFC, Francisco is responsible for training data, developing a taxonomy, and analyzing the user experience of MALENA (Machine learning environment (social and governance) analyst), which is an artificial intelligence platform designed to aid in the analysis of ESG data for investing purposes. In 2022, the project was selected by IRCAI and UNESCO as one of the 100 most promising development platforms for solving the UNDP Sustainable Development Goals.Prior to joining IFC, Francisco worked as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Universidad del Desarrollo (UDD), where he taught Global Political Economy.
