Parag has more than 15 years of preclinical and clinical research and product development experience, in both academia and startups and is interested in translating basic science into products that improve the quality of lives of individuals. He completed his basic BioEngineering training in Mumbai, India before pursuing his master's and PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles Specializing in NeuroEngineering. These devices are currently being tested in the animal model and are expected to be FDA approved in the next 5-10 years. Contributed to the development of prototype non-invasive spinal cord stimulators and electrode arrays. These devices are currently being tested in human subjects and are expected to be FDA approved in the next couple of years. Developing techniques to combine non-invasive spinal cord stimulators in combination with exoskeleton technology to further enable locomotor function in paralyzed subjects.
