Visiting Faculty for the subject Space Design & Graphics(Exhibition Display, Window Display & Retail Spaces)

- New Product Development - Packaging and Merchandising- Point of Purchase Displays and Retail Design- Shop-in-shop And flagship store designSr. Visualiser (Visual Merchandiser/Retail)Utilize multi-disciplinary creative skills and ideas for production of interiors and the displays; concept to final product. Create support graphics for exhibitions: Posters and information panels. Inform and educate spectators by communicating with creative visual ideas. Take part in team brainstorming sessions for design concepts. Attend to the overall ‘look and feel’ of Location, interiors and foyers, taking into account educational requirements. Coordinate the production of creative structures including interactive and participatory elements such as holograms and touch screens. Use precise measuring skills while ensuring logical traffic flow within spatial compositions. Prepare and provide Visual presentations to clients. Manage supplier relationships. Work with basic budget calculations for projects using basic project management and planning. Monitor workflow & maintain projects while keeping track using inventories and databases. Accountable of sourcing & management of art works, products, materials and suppliers. Oversee design-related quality assurance and artisans’ workmanship. Maintain existing exhibits and displays and anticipates deterioration factors and security requirements.

Apply specific standards for storage, handling, packaging and transporting valuable artworks and artefacts. Assist to maintain correct preservation of artworks & artefacts (monitor the effects of lighting/ moisture content). Oversee work of contractors and artisans (decorators, cabinet makers, painters, finishers, steel workers). Accountable for sourcing, commissioning, acquisition and display of fine art works. Manage general maintenance and upgradation of exhibition spaces. Plan and design exhibition spaces, elements, and traffic patterns and drafts working drawings. Design principles and methods sufficient to be able to create display concepts and draft working drawings for exhibits and other projects. Prepare, monitor & track exhibition installation budgets and authorizes expenditures for exhibition display & construction. Observe all common safety practices. Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions sufficient to be able to establish a safe work environment for self and others Train assigned employees, schedules and checks their work, and may assist in preparing employee performance evaluations. Provide technical guidance to staff and volunteers in the maintenance and installation of exhibitions.
