About Parag Modi

Parag Modi is Global Head of Software Engineering at G4S reporting to the Group CIO. Parag’s core responsibility is to deliver innovative business solutions to enable G4S’s business objectives and strategic priorities by driving and maturing end to end IT solutions, services development and delivery. He and his team are focused on redefining IT by developing high quality, innovative solutions architected for the future. He is responsible for developing key next gen organizational capabilities in Cloud Platforms and Services, Big Data, and Platform Capabilities (using Mobile, Analytics, Agile, SaaS) that will be used across the company for rapid digitization internally as well as value added services for clients. Parag is passionate about innovation and has spearheaded innovation and continuous improvement with significant results (go to market product / services, business impact in terms of significant savings). He has played a critical role in building a culture of quality and enhancing the customer experience globally for users in G4S.Parag is also Head of the Global Development Center out of India. As part of the same he is responsible for setting up and growing the GDC in India . Accountabilities including hiring, training , setting up organizational processes like compensation , review model etc.. to see that the GDC is an employer of choice in the local market Prior to joining G4S , Parag worked with Microsoft for over a decade and held various leadership positions, including: Director of Program Management , COE Lead , Principal product Manager etc… and has worked in various different organizations across Microsoft . Prior to joining Microsoft Parag has experience in the software services industry as well as an entrepreneur
