JOB PROFILE:-• Procurement of non production material & services such as – Consumables, Jigs & Fixtures, tooling, machinery spares-Capital Item like gear boxes, Sloter machine & HRS casting of right quality at optimum cost. • Planning - Preparing the procurement plan in coordination with Marketing and Manufacturing IN ORDER TO meet deliveries of products as per dispatch plan.• Ordering - Ensure timely placement of purchase orders on approved vendors IN ORDER TO ensure availability of material at the right time.• Material cost Reduction and Control - To identify and expedite cost reduction measures for various products IN ORDER TO counter inflation and maintain competitive material cost.• Co-ordination - Co-ordinate with suppliers & logistics partner to get the right material at the right time to support Domestic requirements to ensure nil line stoppages & nil premium freights.• Organize Ensure timely delivery of right quality components from vendors with regular follow IN ORDER TO meet the manufacturing & dispatch plan.• Vendor management - To reevaluate existing vendors; develop alternate vendors IN ORDER TO continuously improve delivery and quality reliability.• Inventory Control - To monitor and control the inward movement as per the dispatch plan IN ORDER TO maintain the optimum inventory levels.• Coordination with all internal customers, legal, Controlling & potential suppliers.• MIS - Formulating, reporting and controlling the key performance indicators for the purchasing function • Knowledge about ZBC, SPM,TPM & resolve customer complaints
