Child Protection

1. Develop a plan of action for initiating the implementation of the Integrated Child Protection Scheme.2. Coordinate and Supervision implementation of the ICPS and all other Child Protection activities at the district level including monitoring and supervision of all institution/agency s/ Projects/ Programmes/ NGOs and shall report program Manager, Child Protection, MSCPS at the state level and submit monthly implementation Report. 3. Coordinating development of Annual District Child Protection Plan, a Resource directory of child-related services, and child tracking system at the District level. 4. Coordinating and networking with all the line department/officers including District Magistrate, District Judge, Superintendent of police, Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Labour officer, Education officer, Chief medical officer(CMO), Municipal Authority, and member of Zila Parishad and local bodies, Besides, also coordinate with the voluntary organizations, Hospital Nursing homes, child welfare committee, Juvenile justice board, CHILDLINE, and other authorities at district levels who have a direct or indirect impact on child protection program/ services at the district level. 5. Conduct the monthly review meeting with all stakeholders including representatives of community and local bodies at the district level. 6. Implementation of District Child Protection Plan once it is approved by Maharashtra State Child Protection Society.

Elder Care Enrichment Centre with in the community to link under privileged senior citizens with holistic care and service. There is multiple service available to Senior citizen under government Scheme, but accessibility is low. Due to lack of awareness and inability to find in road into the government process. Senior citizens are not able to gain from the benefits duly designed for them. To Establish and manage an Elder Enrichment Centre (EEC) in the F North ward.To Provide Need base service Health, Social, recreational, Educational and counselling through the enrichment centerTo provide Home bound service to Senior citizens in selected communityTo Sensitize community about aging and related issue and seek their support to facilitate community care of the elderly. To support Family care givers and enhance their care giving experience

Networking With NGO: Networking of NGO on Tobacco control issue. Conducting Tobacco awareness through NGO in various district in Maharashtra To motivate the NGOs for established tobacco control cell in working district2. D.Ed. / B.Ed. college: Organize tobacco awareness session in D.Ed. / B. Ed college in Raigad, Thane & Mumbai To motivate the student don’t use tobacco and making tobacco free school3. Tobacco Awareness session In BMC School as well as government Aided schools Life skill education through aware to children on ill effects of tobacco in various BMC School as well as government Aided schools. Sanitized the teacher for making tobacco free educational institution.4. Zila parishad: Conducting the health workshop for stake holder’s i.e. Education department, Health Department. Conducting state level teacher’s Training workshop on ill effect of tobacco Organize the Tobacco awareness Program on ill effects of tobacco for public. Networking and advocacy with BEST Public transport in Mumbai on the issue of tobacco. Organize the Tobacco awareness Program on ill effects of tobacco for BEST Drivers and other staff5.  Networking and case work in Aangan’s Youth pathway Project in the Antop Hill slum community in Mumbai. Independently compiled a resource directory of various Government schemes Coordinated Aangan’s staff recognition Program for staff of children’s institute in Maharashtra. Monitoring an evaluation of Children’s institutions in Maharashtra (especially Latur,Nanded, Beed, and Osmanabad) along with a team. Conducting need assessment of children’s institutions(Observation homes and children’s home) in state of Utter Pradesh in a Team

 I was conducted child labour survey in Kalava, Kalyan, Bhiwandi, Ullasnagar, their started 40 special schools for child Labours who are working in hazardous occupation. Children from 8 to 14yr were enrolled in child labour special schools. Rescue the child labour from hazardous industries and filed case against employer with the help of Dy. Commissioner of Labour and special juvenile police unit, Thane Monitoring and evaluation on govt. provided facilities i.e. educational material, Midday meal and stipend To train to teacher and vocational teacher for effective function the school and all child labour enrolled in child labour schools

 Capacity building of youth groups for problems solving in villages level issue and generate the resource to the rural problem i.e. road, health, infrastructure. Plan and execute various activities and programs keeping in mind the rural development with active participation of local population. Conducted training programs regarding empowerment of Tribal youth i.e. awareness campaign on education, health, govt. schemes and Panchyati raj etc. Conduct group sessions among adolescent (10 to18yr) with body mapping, Mental & physical changes through regular Classes. Develop leadership skills through various cultural activity for adolescence and youth groups Support educational needs i.e. providing stationary, text books, exam fees
