About Param Desai

I am passionate about computer technology which led the way of my career path as a computer programmer. I started my programming journey by learning programming languages like Java, C++ and Python. I become a Python Tutor for young students who want to learn basic skills for python. Shad Canada's program was one of my stepping stones in pursuing my career. Shad was an intense one-month program that taught me social, technical, and soft skills for my future.I even founded a fundraiser called The Path with other students in my grade for Covid-19 relief. We saw a growing problem in Long Term Care Homes which we couldn't ignore which made us make this fundraiser. We rose money so we could financially aid Long Term Care Homes so they can obtain Covid relief supplies like masks, sanitizers, gloves, etc.Outside of my passion for technology, I have an interest in many sports and esports. I play basketball, football, badminton, and cricket for a school team or with friends. I even play electronic games like League of Legends and Valorant to pass my time during the weekend.
