Charging DATA Reporting System( CRS) ----CRS is the data warehouse solution for Charging System in the mobile network to enable business-critical reports in the customer’s business organization.The CRS is used to reconcile charging provisioning and usage information, answer customer inquiries in near real-time, and better manage the complex tasks of a prepaid business. The CRS can be used by external system to retrieve Call History information.Charging data Reporting System (CRS) correlates information from many sources (nodes) in the prepaid infrastructure and network infrastructure, for example, Administration System, Customer Care and Billing, Network information from the Operation and Support System (OSS), customer activation information from the Home Location Register (HLR) and others. Development of Openreach LOB for British Telecom London,U.K The project involves the analysis, design , development,testing of Openreach Buisness Information Toolset(ORBIT) which takes the majority of its information from the openreach equivalence management platform (EMP) and legacy OSS and MIS systems. The MIS informationis used by Openreach to operationally manage the business and also to provide information to Openreach Customers (CPs)and to the regulator(OFFCOM/OTA) to provide equivalence of input (EOI). Orbit is a data warehouse platform providing management and MFU’s information to various parts of the business. It receives information supplied by independent systems and then uses any or all of these to produce reports and extracts. Orbit processes BT’s everyday business information.
