• Superintending the working of 1147 No. workforce comprising Sr. Executives, Officers, Subordinates & Skilled workers for Operation, protection & Maintenance work of 125 No. 66kV substations and 1274 Ckt.Km of 33/66kV.

Transformer Repair Workshop – 09/06/2011– 23/12/2011

• Superintending the working of 1No. Central Workshop and 4No. Transformer repair workshops. I put my effort to surpass the previous records, while ensuring the quality of workmanship.Achievements:
• C.E/Workshop conveyed appreciation for surpassing the set performance targets.

• Testing of repaired and new transformers in various workshops and to inspect material like ACSR conductor, HT-LT cables, Energy Meters, Transformers and many other items used in PSPCL organizatoin, at supplier’s.

• Supervising 6 No. Sub Division Officers and their subordinates for reliable distribution of electricity, Prevention of theft of electricity, Renovation and modernization of Electric supply system (with object of.
• Limiting various parameters and achieving targets given by management. Here, I personally planned and closely monitor AT&C loss reduction work, as these were increasing every year and management was very much concerned.
• Unique method of theft of electricity (using electronic ckt.in tiffin box) unleashed and gang sent to jail. This acted as deterrent for habitual offenders and substantially increased revenue of PSPCL.
• Reduced AT&C losses by 5.22% (from 24.17% in 2007 to 18.95% in 2010) much beyond the given target. This lead to substantial Financial gain of 10.42Cr. and further securing annual financial

• Efficient running of in house transformer repair & testing workshop in a manner to repair maximum no. of transformers without compromising workmanship and quality. Here, I involved myself personally by day to day.
• Against given target of 32% (increase in transformer repair than previous year), the progress overshooted the target by 20%, with a benchmark achievement of 52% increase.

• Responsible for delivering uninterrupted & reliable power supply by conducting preventive maintenance of sub stations. Attending breakdowns in minimum time.
• Ensuring continuous delivery of power supply to farm sector of Punjab as per schedule given by power controller.Achievements:

• Supervising Junior Engineers and their staff for reliable distribution of electricity in a Sub Division in efficient manner, Prevention of theft of electricity, Release of new Electric Connections, Renovation and.
• Supervising Revenue Accountant and his staff for timely issue and delivery of energy bills to consumers, revenue collection and maintaining consumer history records. Achievements:
• Major work of erection of new lines in this period. Achieved full performance targets.
