Led a team of technicians and ensured the delivery, quality, grade and timing of the project were up to standard while maintaining the 10-month project timeline • Annual Procurement | Led the procurement management of $20+ million of equipment across all departments including Water Services, Roads Department, Parks and Waste & Recycling operations on an annual basis. • Project Manager for the $425 million FEM (Front End Module) project for Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger; collaborated with a European supplier to establish and design a $6.5 million assembly line to reduce costs and oversaw the overall operations, execution and risk management for the project • Collaborated and liaised with electrical teams, thermal engineering teams and additional teams while maintaining the dual role of project manager and lead engineer; designed components while fulfilling the leadership role of manager• Developed the entire FEM assembly process for the Chrysler assembly plants by coordinating with engineering, suppliers and manufacturing teams • Managed various vendors and procured necessary equipment and materials; maintained effective vendor quality control to ensure standards were upheld • Managed various additional components of the program including the front end fit and finish, control plans and processes, weight and cost management, and assembly equipment design and installation • Designed and launched an $11.5 million headlamp lighting system and ensured all government regulations were met in regards to lighting systems, bumper systems, highway regulations and safety compliance • Member of a $90 million MCM task force team to uncover opportunities for cost savings; analyzed car design and implemented changes such as the simplification of manufacturing and elimination of unnecessary items in order to reduce costs across the entire manufacturing process and achieved the savings goal of $90 million• Maintained a focus on reducing the car’s weight in order to create fuel savings for customers
