The group also acquired Alstom Motors India Plant in Kolkata.Job Responsibilities:- Technical support to Assembly Line & Winding shops like Process Layout Optimization / Improvement, Tooling, Fixture and Gauge development etc.Capacity Planning & Line setup, Line Balancing.Conducting Ppk & Cpk study.Machines / Tooling / Material handling equipment Purchase: Supplier selection, Technical discussion, price finalization, Placing of purchase orders, conducting Pre Dispatch Inspection( PDI ), Installation & commissioning & handover to user departmentStandardization of Engineering Instructions, Work instructions & process flow diagrams. Conducting Process tryouts.Relayouting Winding cells on the lines of cell manufacturing for improving productivity and Flexibility. Installation of Andon display board and sensors for a project VISUAL FACTORYRoller conveyer installed in Motor Assembly which increased the 25% Capacity per line & save power consumption. Optimized line set up of DLF and GP motor during block closer.Punching PR (Purchase Requisition) & PO (Purchase Order) & Routing in Oracle Based ERP system version 11iCost reduction through KAIZEN & Lean engg.

Job Responsibilities:- Worked as a GET in the standard room quality, played the role of quality engg. For the various new product developments like, rack n pinion, rack bar housing, Punto case differential, Toyota Corolla rack bar housing, Housing for GM, Nano case differential.INDUSTRIALTRAINING:Seven month training; Six Sigma Green Belt trained.Fanuc programme trained for Turning and Milling.Projects undertaken:-Resin motor development.IHP machining and assembly line set up .Time study to reduce cycle time of different processes (assembly & winding shop, firewall area). Process improvement of the plant. Documentation for ISO record.Installation of new shell field pressing machine.Exposure in the Block Closure in the plant
