• Adopting the “Service Oriented” approach in discharging of its duties in order to functions harmoniously with the concept of the Hotel as a place of hospitality• Protecting the hotel guests and keeping the peace .• Monitoring any undesirable elements to ensure that they do not harass, harm or embarrass the hotel guests.• Taking appropriate action to defuse any outbreak of violence or commotion within the Hotel premises;• Intelligence gathering, from within and without the hotel of the identities and activities of undesirable elements.• Surveillance of hotel staff ensuring that they abide by the House Rules.• Keeping tag on movements of staff who are classified as suspects under investigations.• Cultivation of Informers with the intention of obtaining information of security interest that may be of immediate or future use to the Department for prevention and detection purposes.• Keeping peace and order within the premises of the Hotel in dealing with criminals, trespassers or difficult characters.• Participating in special functions or operations conducted or organized by the Hotel for VVIPS, shows, etc., and private organization or individual having official business connected with the Hotel.• Keeping the Duty Shift Security Supervisor, Security Manager, and Director of Security constantly posted on all matters of security interest affecting the Hotel and the Department.• Conducting regular and periodical checks and taking immediate follow-up action to rectify faults, damage, etc.,• Attending the briefing session that takes place thirty (30) minutes before the commencement of each shift.• Attending approval courses conducted by the Hotel Training Department.• Attending meeting and in-service training conducted by the Department.

• Making a call and work with the Police in the event of the discovery of Unauthorized visitors to the school.• Assisting the Emergency Team in emergency situations fire/police agencies and/or senior management.• Ensuring the health and safety of Pupils, staff and visitors wherever possible.• Acting as Fire Marshal for School. • Working with other relevant parties, perform routine and emergency.• Locking off the school’s facilities, possibly assisting in crowd control.• Patrolling and inspecting the interior and exterior of the school’s facilities on foot. Responding• Managing visitor access/control including issuing both permanent and temporary security badges.• Performing Car park management works and instructing Colleagues as well.• Reporting incidents to the Security Head and recording these in relevant logs.• Identifying and reporting maintenance and repair jobs to the Concerned department (verbally, helpdesk etc.)• Identify and reporting Health and Safety incidents (near misses), accidents and hazards to the Health and Safety officer and other relevant parties.• Providing reception cover and assistance as and when required.• Dealing with staff, pupils and visitors enquiries and requests in an efficient and timely manner.• Effectively operating a variety of equipment including portable radios, computers, closed-circuit and access control systems.• Providing escorts to parents, contractors, visitors and relevant others throughout the day as required.• Providing agreed support for events and activities, including escorting etc. as required.

• Providing security staff with list of duties at the beginning of each shift.• Educating staff to ensure that they deal with adverse situations in a calm and effective manner.• Teaching new hires as security staff and train them in learning the ropes.• Establishing priorities of security patrols and ensure that staff adheres to them.• Providing visitors with helpful advice to ensure their security.• Ensuring that unauthorized personnel are not granted access to premises.• Providing support in emergency and evacuation services by guiding people to take certain routes to ensure their safety.• Guiding security staff to act appropriately during emergency situations.• Responding immediately to alarm system activations and perform checks in areas of concern.• Ensuring that all CCTVs around the building are efficiently installed and sensitively monitored.• Conducting property searches on a regular basis.• Ensuring effective maintenance and control of security equipment and keys.• Conducting security administration such as issuance of visitors’ badges and wrist bands.• Respond to requests of removing vagrants from property and ensure that any suspicious activity is investigated immediately.• Providing security staff with First Aid training and ensure that staff knows which emergency service to contact with respect to the emergency at hand.• Maintaining logs of ins and outs of customers, visitors and employees from a building.

• Monitor and control entrances and exits to and from assigned firm’s premises in order to prevent unwanted/unauthorized attendance.• Making sure that no unauthorized personnel enter restricted areas.• Monitoring and operating CCTV cameras and other recording systems and visitor management systems.• Creating a safe and comfortable working environment for employees and visitors.• Using the correct radio voice procedure.• Escorting individuals off the premises.• Accurately updating administrative records and daily sheets.• Reporting all incidents and when required to escalating incidents to senior management.• Liaising with the emergency services, police, ambulance and fire service to resolve issues and maintain security and service.
