Completed a PhD in Psycho-Physiology, understanding the link between the heart and brain and how that can impact mental health and wellbeing. Using a multi-disciplinary approach, the development of a comprehensive multi-methods holistic framework used to evaluate mental health & wellbeing and the impact of practices and therapies to help improve stress management and well-being of individuals, utilising advanced technology in mapping Heart Rate Variability.Completed MSc Neuroinformatics at Newcastle University. Project includes research into the effects of Breathing Meditation on the, structural changes, in particular the volume of the amygdala and the resting state functional connectivity of the brain using MRI scans Completed BSc Biomedical Science. My practical knowledge and technical ability acquired from research projects combined with laboratory skills has allowed me to consistently produce accurate, reliable and reproducible results. I am adept at designing and implementing experimental procedures and am eager to learn more and build on my existing skills Outside of the education I am a keen traveler. I traveled Europe, visiting France, Belgium, Germany, Spain and Netherlands. I went traveled Asia for 8 weeks visiting India, Singapore, Kuala Lumpar, Bangkok, Thailand, China and Hong Kong. Organisation and communication were key. Traveling enhanced my independence and helped to affirm my ambitions for the futureI enjoy to keep physically active and fit. I enjoy spending time playing sports such as football, rugby cricket and various racket sports. I have previously completed a rugby tour of South Africa.
