As Accountable Manager @ Dutch Drone Academy I am responsible for the daily operation, keeping the organization compliant with the status of RTF (registered training facility) and Qualified Entity (appointed by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, The Dutch CAA), which allows us to offer EASA compliant courses and examinations for the Open and Specific Categories, valid within all EU member states.

As Accountable Manager @ Dutch Drone Team I am responsible for the daily operations, running EASA compliant unmanned operations within the Specific Category. Dutch Drone Team is certified to perform aerial video and photo work (Pink Floyd, U2), close range inspections, to operate within CTR (controlled airspace), perform railway inspections and operate at night. These are some examples of the work we can deliver safe, legally and EASA compliant, all over Europe.

CapitalSource has been a 100% subsidiary of an international investment group since 2012. CapitalSource was founded and managed by Hofland from 2003 until the transfer and integration after the acquisition at the end of 2012.From 2003 to 2012 my roles consisted of: director, member of the board, acquisition of placement orders, day-to-day management of the organization, investor relationship management and assessing international investment propositions. Guiding informal investors in participating in complex real estate and sustainable development projects and land speculations.In total (2003 to 2012) 86 investment funds were funded by CapitalSource, and just under 40 million euros of equity was raised.

Recruitment firm for IT professionals. Being one of the first companies using Linux and not Microsoft, for driving the office automation (all using dumb terminals, logged in to a central server), efficiency was gained and costs were saved. The interactive website of vacancies, which was also an innovative development at the time, featured search tools to match the interest and experience of the visiting professionals with vacancies across the country.Acquisition of these vacancies was done on the basis of the career goals of the IT professionals within the database. Working four days a week until 21:00 hours at night, the CareerSupport team approached IT professionals in their spare time, mapping their ambitions and matching them with vacancies from over a hundred clients.Putting personal goals central, and not the client, approximately 100 professionals per year successfully found a new job via CareerSupport. Since matches where made based on the intrinsic interests of the professionals, the term a professional worked for a new employer was more the twice the average. CareerSupport was sold in 2001.

Started out as Junior Research Consultant and ended up as IT Consultant, focused on recruiting IT management. Got to see many tier one companies from within. Great learning opportunity for understanding how business work and how to act and interact when delivering high end services.
