Role included both advisory and litigation work, appearing in the Industrial Magistrate’s Court, drafting written advice in relation to workers’ compensation entitlement, discrimination and sexual harassment complaints, disciplinary matters, industrial disputes and unfair dismissal claims;• 6 month seat in Solicitor General’s division (chosen seat when qualified as Lawyer). Role included advisory and litigation work, drafting witness statements, drafting written advices in relation to ex-gratia payments to individuals by Government Departments, applications for employee indemnity against liability, petitions for pardon by prisoners and applications to declare individuals vexatious litigants;• 6 month seat in Intellectual Property & Information Technology Law division. This role was predominantly advisory and included, drafting written advices and commercial agreements in relation to the registration of trade marks and domain names, copyright act offences, patent applications, enforcement of contractual obligations and commercialisation of software.
