I worked remotely to develop and maintain the school website for St Jude’s C of E Primary Academy using WordPress and HTML. I developed the website to offer a more structured layout of content organised to be user-friendly, ensuring all information was easily and readily accessible. Additionally I project managed the transition of the old website to a new website liaising with the head teacher and the website development company. I met with key stakeholders and presented the website to discuss how it could be further improved where I acted as an advisor defining how the improvements can be made and communicated this with the company as required.

Coventry

As a Support Consultant at WeSupply, I supported the clients as well as their trading partners with their EDI queries and issues. Providing high quality customer service, I investigated issues, monitored the client sites regularly and produced documentation and reports as required. Whilst at WeSupply, I was offered to work alongside my director to develop a service desk web application using PHP, HTML, JavaScript/jQuery and MySQL.

Wolverhampton

I worked as an Office Administrator at the school and shortly after I was offered the additional role of ICT Technician. I managed the day-to-day running of the office and solely undertook all its responsibilities. I developed structured systems within the office, which lead to a successful financial audit and an improved Ofsted inspection rating. I provided technical support to staff and children with the use of laptops, printers, projectors and interactive whiteboards.

Wolverhampton

I initially joined as a Customer Service Assistant then shortly after I was offered the responsibility of Checkout Supervisor. I managed the checkouts and the operators, as well as being accountable for all the cash held within the store. I reported daily and weekly sales as well as ensuring that the store was presented well offering customer service to the highest level.

Lichfield

As part of my degree I undertook my work placement at St Giles Hospice as an IT Support Assistant. I assisted in the support of all hardware and software across the three hospice sites and I was given the opportunity to redesign the website for the National Forum for Hospice at Home. I provided them with detailed design documentation as well as site map which I presented at meetings with the president and other members of the forum. Whilst at the hospice I also implemented an order requisition web application to allow departments within the hospice to submit orders for equipment and stationery via one central system. This was implemented using PHP, HTML, MySQL and CSS under the guidance of my line manager.
