-Manage inbound and outbound shipments from a 125,000 square feet warehouse facility. -Develop daily work tasks for material handlers/drivers and supervise over 20 warehouse employees. -Maintain inventory accuracy and plan distribution center layout as per changes in operation. -Establish and sustain a positive relationship with customers & carriers and ensure on time deliveries. -Manage employee time cards with ez labor system and distribute over time equally.-Train, evaluate and develop team members to achieve daily goals without compromising safety.-Maintain professional relationships with employees and use verbal or written coaching if required-Ensure the logistics equipment is up to date and is in safe working condition. -Arrange carriers for US, Canadian & Overseas shipments and negotiate rates for freight. -Order in rail cars or inter modal equipment through CN and ensure equipment is returned on time
