Hazira (Surat) Port, Situated on the west coast of India in Gujarat State, about 25 km from Surat city and about 250 km from Mumbai, often mentioned as just Hazira Port, is built by Hazira Port Private Limited (HPPL), a joint venture between two of the largest private LNG suppliers in the world and among the Global Top 10 Fortune companies, Shell Gas B.V (Shell) and Total Gaz Electricité Holdings France (Total). Spread over an area of 46.7 hectares, the terminal has a jetty where LNG cargo is unloaded through cryogenic unloading arms and sent to the LNG tanks for storage via unloading line. Each tank contains In-tank pumps which transfer the LNG to recondenser.• Planning of shift security operations in consultation with Security Specialist / Field Security In charge.• Be responsible for total protection and safeguarding people, assets, environment and reputation of the company at the port & terminal locations and any other locations having company's business interests and/ or as directed by the company from time to time from security threats including but not limited to Armed Conflict, Terrorism, Violent Crime, Organized Crime, Targeted Activism, Civil Unrest, Encroachment and Theft of Information and other Adversarial & Non Adversarial threats during my shift.• Shift manpower deployment, briefing, monitoring, handling and its record keeping.• Keep myself educated on the latest security procedures and work instructions.• Maintain close personal contact with members of security staff to keep them motivated for the job.• Ensure all security staff understands their duties. HPCL-Mittal Pipelines Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited. HPCL-Mittal Pipelines Limited operates business related to crude oil receipt, its storage and cross-country transportation. The Mundra - Bathinda Pipeline transports crude oil from Mundra, Gujarat to HMEL’s Guru Gobind Singh Refinery at Bathinda, Punjab. A 1,017-km long Mundra Bhatinda pipeline, has 27 sectionalization valve stations (SV stations) and five Intermediate pumping stations.• Working as Security Incharge of 150 KM Crude Oil Pipeline.• Working as Incharge of Quick Reaction Teams.• Monitoring of Line Walkers and QRT vehicles by Tracker/GPRS system.• Visit section valve/Pumping Station in jurisdiction and ensure working of Power fence, Access control system.• Ensuring the entry of visitors in SV’s on the permission of control room.• Visiting the Refinery for training/meeting.• Handling the team of at least 60-70 persons (supervisors, drivers, gunmen, guards, line walkers).• Maintain the attendance record of staff.• Recruiting and training of new staff.• Make the duty roaster of QRT staff and ensure implementation.• Liaise with local police, Fire station etc.• Liaise with locals (Sarpanch, Patwari, Villagers) etc.• Organizing the security awareness meetings / briefings among the security staff.• Ensure that no material moving in/out without proper papers that must have authorize signatories.• Handling security service providers.• Carry out intelligence activities in the villages in route of pipeline and report to control room.• Creating and implementing new security and administrative rules.• Auditing of security and administration related equipment and records.
