I am a Supply Chain Engineer with Ryder that works on-site at Pratt & Whitney Canada in the Warehousing Services Team. We are the critical link between the P&WC manufacturing facilities and the 3rd party warehouses. Among managing the operations and flow of material between the two, I also: • Have developed and own a robust business continuity plan for the Logistics department that has become the benchmark for the P&WC Business Continuity Management team. • On the above , I planned and co-hosted a full day business continuity simulation event, complete with a lecture from our IT department representative. The event challenged representatives from sales, operations, quality and I/T to respond to emergency situations. There was also pizza!• Have carried out ad-hoc tasks or projects, such as implementing corrective action plans, creating new forms, processes and reports, as well as value stream mapping flows in multiple warehouses. • Continuously work with IT team to develop and roll out SAP transactions and Job Positions. • Support the installation of P&WC systems in the 3rd Party Warehouses• Support the P&WC business relationship with our non-product warehouse. • I own and run some key monthly reports and KPI's. • Manage the department as the ACE Pilot (continuous improvement pilot). This role includes, but is not limited to: maintaining the team SharePoint site, 5S in the department, quality meetings and celebrating countless birthday's and events.

• Forecast # patient transports for Logistics department post consolidation of 3 large hospitals and developed plan to save $200, 000 annually through in-sourcing. • Develop Master Schedule of medical doctors in never-before-seen ambulatory cancer centre. Followed by designing patient-flows in new centre.• Lead problem analysis group in Breast Screening Centre and subsequent Six-Sigma project involving 5S, telephone service re-planning, queue management and more in a bid to re-develop service. • Process Mapping and Review of Women’s Health Pavilion, followed by recommendations to ameliorate services. • Member of Cancer Centre multidisciplinary workgroup, guest member of many work-groups and in constant communication with administration.
