As Project Assistant, my daily tasks included the identification and monitoring of strategic international tendering opportunities, mainly those financed by the EU, and more specifically, EuropeAid programs, but also some others funded by organisations such as the European Investment Bank, the World Bank, the African Development Bank and others, including some national development agencies such as GIZ. Such tasks also involved the preparation of Expression of Interests (managing and preparing administrative documents, selection of the references, etc.), and the identification and communication with potential partners or experts. It also included the management of Requests for Services under the Framework Contracts of the SIEA 2018 Lot 3 and Lot 5.

The Internship entails primary and secondary source analysis and reports writing. The research is mainly centred on critical regional security issues, on topics ranging from US Foreign Policy or Asian economic and security trends, to WMD and CBRNE proliferation, among others.
