I lead the implementation of the communication, education and engagement strategy of NSF's NOIRLab in Chile.

At the University of La Serena, I teach Digital Tools and Digital Image, where I guide future journalists in the use of useful tools for the exercise of the journalistic profession.

I led the Public Information Office of the Gemini South Observatory, where I had the chance to oversee the implementation of different outreach programs among the diversity of the observatory's publics and stakeholders in Chile, the US and abroad. At the same time, I supervised Gemini South's user communications and supported all related products in this area. Besides, I had to led an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement and assess Gemini's communication strategies.

As the Outreach & Audio Visual Productions Specialist at Gemini Observatory, I have the following responsabilities:- Write news about science and technology related to astronomy, telescope and instrumentation technology for users and general public.- Document telescope milestones and activities upon request in photography and video (events, engineering tasks, science goals)- Design, production, investigation and printing of educational & Outreach materials, such as magazines, leaflets, calendars, posters.- Editing photography and videos for educational programs and materials.- Produce and spread visual products for local (Chile) and worldwide media.- Provide information via press releases to local and international media about science done and produced at Gemini Observatory.- Manage the Gemini Observatory Youtube channel.- Produce and provide videos for the Observatory channels, media, telescope user's, and documentary producers from different parts of the world.- Perform presentations in schools.- Provide tours to the Telescope (VIP, public and for media).- Provide support on Starlab presentations.- Update the database stats of outreach activities.- Work closely with scientist and Astronomers in the way to spread scientific and technology knowledge to the community.

In this human resource company, I was the webmaster of several Communities of Practice in many Chilean companies. Here I draw communicational strategies to spread training programs amid the companies (specially banking, Telecom and courier), supporting public relations with external public, tracking the results of coaching, writing news, interviews and perform workshops of communication as relater (teller), among other tasks. Also I use to made news in video for internet audiences.

In this clipping agency I was the journalist contents coordinator. I had to check the monitoring of magazines and regional newspapers. Also, I supported the analysis area making graphics and developing methodologies of monitoring. Besides, I did some translations with the head office based on Israel.

In this agency I worked as a reporter in different informative fields as economics, politics, defense, presidential election and justice. Also I had to write international news from foreign agencies. Here I got the basic tools of the traditional journalism. I was very close to Pinochet’s lawsuit and his returning from London. In Defense, I was assigned to FIDAE (International Fair of Space and Aeronautics) and to the speeches of Human Rights arranged by the Chilean Government.
