About Roberto Paredes
Full Professor DSIC-UPV. Former Director of PRHLT Research Center. CTO of Solver Intelligent Analytics. European Distributed Deep Learning Library-EDDL Lead Developer.Dr. Roberto Paredes received the PhD degree in Computer Science (Cum Laude) in 2003 from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV), Spain. In 2000 he joined the Computer Science Department of the UPV, where he is until now serving as a Full Professor. His current fields of interest include Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Biometrics, Large-scale problems, Multimedia Retrieval and Relevance Feedback. Moreover Dr. Paredes was the Head of the PRHTL Research Centre and former President of the Spanish AERFAI Association. Roberto Paredes is CTO and Co-founder of Solver Machine Learning now SolverIA, a spin-off of the UPV. He is also the Valencia.AI ambassador. GITHUB: https://github.com/RParedesPalacios
