The lessons provided a platform for students to discuss current issues that challenged their thinking, behaviour and actions; and were useful in increasing their attendance and punctuality, empowering them to further their aspirations and prepare them for work and higher education.- Developed my own educational event, preparing young people for university and employment, compiled with guest speakers and practical resources.- Mentored students that were commonly taken out of class for misbehaviour or were used to truanting.

- Lead one on one and group informal mentoring sessions, with young people who had an involvement in youth crime and gangs in their local area. - Initiated a girls only session for young girls who were at risk for various reasons in their home andat school and who struggled to socialise with the other girls in the club. This project was created to encourage to participation and provide a safe platform for them to speak, share and experience fun social things together. Activities varied from arts and crafts, street dance and singing.- Young people were supported in campaigning against the Cuts to Haringey’s Youth service by; setting up meetings with politicians, attending Haringey’s Youth Parliament and more with me playing a strategic lead in participation.- Supported the transition of young people from dependence to independence, introducing new skills and expanding the learning of those who had significant special educational needs.
