In this role, I have following responsibilities, Design and development support using ‘PTC CREO, Autodesk INVENTOR & AutoCAD’ for compressor and coolers product development team. Preparation of technical specifications and drawings for compressor components andassemblies complying with international or company standards. Responsible for preparation of General Arrangement Drawing, P&ID, layout drawings,foundation drawing with load data and other project… Show more In this role, I have following responsibilities, Design and development support using ‘PTC CREO, Autodesk INVENTOR & AutoCAD’ for compressor and coolers product development team. Preparation of technical specifications and drawings for compressor components andassemblies complying with international or company standards. Responsible for preparation of General Arrangement Drawing, P&ID, layout drawings,foundation drawing with load data and other project documents as per customer/vender requirements. Experience in design of compressor skid (Base Frame) packages for Centrifugal compressors, Reciprocating Compressors & Screw Compressors. Responsible for preparing & review work related to sheet metal, piping, heavy fabrication, light fabrication, casting & machining of the product using CAD tools applying Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (ASME Y14.5M-2009). Experience in Value Analysis & Value Engineering (VAVE) required for reducing the problems, identify & eliminate costs & quality of the product by applying it in product design & development methods. Application of the Design for Manufacturing & Design for assembly (DFMA) concept to design a product easily & economically. Testing and checking the manufacturing as well as assembly feasibilities of critical components or assemblies on site/assembly line. Knowledge of API, DIN, ISO and ASME standards related to compressors, coolers and pressure vessels. Managing engineering data using Oracle ERP : Drawing revisions, Problem reports, BOM creation, Product change requests and Engineering change notices, Costing of the package.
