The Duties included• get the handover of the DES from Lycopodium• Update project plans, procedures and specifications for implementation• Assist Engineering manager to prepare engineering and design estimate • Coordinate and manage the satellite engineering and design teams for earthworks ( Brisbane office) and crushing plant standardization package (initially Lycopodium, then Calibre Head office) for detail design works. • Took over the overland conveyor design package management and coordination which was being done out of Melbourne office• Manage scope changes and trends for all design works for WTS project• Manage Technical Queries with the client team and updates to the project team.• Conduct design reviews, Hazop reviews and risk reviews for all the design packages.

Role included managing Scope, Budget and cost control, Schedule, Procurement, Safety, Reporting and Construction management. The project came well under budget and Schedule. Jun 05 – Oct 05Project Engineer• Part of the Project Controls Team for the Koniambo Nickel Project in Brisbane Office (AUD$2.198 Billion budget). This Project is a Joint Venture between Hatch and Technip. The role included assisting with preparing and setting up the Project Controls Procedures and Plans, maintaining and assisting the Coordination of the PVA Register, assisting with the analysis of Engineering work packaging and analyzing the EPCM work hours with the cost coding. Sep 04 – May 05Project Engineer • Part of the Proposal team preparing the proposal for Hope Downs Iron Ore Project worth $AUD 2Billion. This was done as a Joint Venture with Clough Engineering.• Part of the Wagerup 3 Study group as Mechanical Engineer involved with Pump calculations and pump selections, preparing estimate reports and assisting Hatch management team.• Preparation of Scope of Work and Specification for the pipeline relocations and preparation of specification for Tie-in packages, as part of the Pinjarra Efficiency Upgrade project. Jul 03 – Aug 04Project Team Leader • Project Team Leader on site (Alcoa Alumina Refinery, Pinjarra, WA) managing shop front projects for scoping, estimating, scheduling and construction. This included negotiating with the client, suppliers, and other service providers’ onsite.
