MY CONTRIBUTIONI was a project manager for developing scenario-based training materials that reflected the reality that the professional services would face at the customer sites. I interviewed both the software developers and the professional services people to find a good balance between theory and real life scenarios.RESULTAfter having attended our courses, the course participants were skilled enough to start working with the StreamServe software as consultants in the document management business. In addition, IT administrators could install, monitor and maintain the StreamServe software projects. The courses also functioned as a kind of proof-of-concept for the customers: they got to see how well the product worked with their own eyes. Show less

In addition, StreamServe was building subsidiaries - both by acquiring existing companies, and also by hiring new staff. All of these challenges required education for various types of target groups: IT staff, developers, end users, etc.MY CONTRIBUTIONI was the project manager for the development of 20 technical courses for various purposes and target groups. I also delivered training, participated in recruitment processes, introduced new employees, and coached new colleagues from all over the world. In addition, I supported the Sales team with product demos, customer meetings, etc. For many customers, I functioned as their trusted advisor when purchasing new licenses and hardware.RESULTThe StreamServe University was profitable from day one with a profit margin of around 30%. Many customers returned for more training and the score for presentation skills was 4.6/5 in average from over 500 course participants.
