Would love to be involved in developing the business together with creative and dedicated colleagues.BACKGROUND / CHALLENGEAfter a successful career as a professional drummer, I started at the document management software company StreamServe in 1998.At that time, the training material was poor and did not meet the expectations of the aggressive business goals, i.e. to build an international professional services organization.BUILDING TRAINING DEPARTMENTA few years later, I had developed 20 technical courses for professional services departments at end-customers, partners, and the largest system integrators in Sweden, Central Europe, UK, USA, and Australia. Cap Gemini, Deloitte, SAP, and more were our customers, who viewed us as their trusted advisors in document process automation.RESULTSI scored 4.6/5 in presentation skills from over 500 course participants, and the profit margin for the StreamServe University was around 30%. The company yearly revenue boosted from 2 MUSD in 1998 to 70 MUSD in 2010. The company headcount went from 50 in 1998 to over 300 in 2010. We built a training organization with over 7 training centers that trained customers and partners all over the world. OpenText acquired StreamServe in 2010.PROJECT MANAGEMENTI am an IPMA certified project manager, and have led project teams with people from Marketing, R&D, Training, Consultants/Services, Sales, Q&A, and Management - geographically distributed across the Nordics, Central Europe, USA and Asia. I interviewed both the software developers and the professional services people to find a good balance between theory and real life scenarios.RESULTAfter having attended our courses, the course participants were skilled enough to start working with the StreamServe software as consultants in the document management business. In addition, IT administrators could install, monitor and maintain the StreamServe software projects.
