At Machine Aquatics, LLC, we are committed to the development of all aquatics levels within our programs. From ensuring all ages have access to the life skill in our learn to swim programs to the development of elite level athletes within our USAS team and after in our Masters team, we demonstrate that aquatics is a skill for life.Machine Aquatics was started in Spring of 2001 by Dan and Paris Jacobs & Christian Doud. Machine Aquatics is a competitive nationally ranked, Silver Medal team with USA Swimming. Machine Aquatics is a level 3 recognition club with USA Swimming having been recognized for our business operations. Currently, we have locations in Virginia and Maryland with 1200+ year round swimmers. Through Machine’s inception we have developed swimmers of all levels. From our Stroke Mechanics Non- Competitive Swimmers to our Mighty- Machines and our USA Swimming National Team members and beyond, we have been blessed with the opportunity to work with thousands of amazing kids and families who will always be apart of the Machine family.In early 2011, we started Machine Swim School at The Madeira School. In January 2012 we decided to follow our dream and build our own center.Machine Swim School & SwimLabs was Fairfax County’s first privately owned, purpose built swim center. As we reviewed our vision for the center we realized that in order to set future swimmers up for success they needed to have their instructor standing over them as they swam in order to correct them as soon as the stroke began to break down. Using small, warm water tanks & 360 deg. video analysis we changed how lessons & stroke analysis was done in the Washington, DC area.In July 2014, we franchised our model under the name SwimLabs, LLC with our partners in Colorado. We are thrilled to have 30+ locations in the USA before selling to a large swim school company. In 2017 we expanded our original center to encompass a 24,000 sq ft. performance center covering swim, fitness, triathlon, physical therapy and adaptive aquatic development. We are excited for our future markets to open soon.

Established in 2011, and opened November of 2012 in downtown Vienna, Machine SwimLabs' purpose-built facility provides a relaxed, modern, and safe environment for all levels of swimmers. Lessons are conducted in Endless Pools, with swimmers perfecting technique against an adjustable current. This allows for all ability levels to use the pools whether it's leaving the current off for beginning classes, or reaching top speeds in the Elite Tank for competitive swimmers.All students will have access to technology that provides instant feedback to the swimmer. Each pool is outfitted with a state of the art video capture system to record a 360 degree view of the swimmer. Cameras are hooked up to individual monitors to allow swimmers to instantly review their mechanics. -
