-Analyzed cat urinalysis results from 2015 through 2017 to visualize trends in the occurrence of blocked urinary tracts and in urinary crystal composition. -Assisted with routine veterinary tasks: vaccinating animals, restraining animals, organizing medical notes, and recording vital signs.

Assisted with rehabilitation treatments for physically impaired animals. Treatments included: underwater treadmill, cold laser, and electrical stimulation.

-Worked directly with the Batak and Tagbanua tribal peoples to conduct a camera trap survey of 7 native carnivores in a proposed forest reserve surrounding Cleopatra's Needle Mountain in Palawan. -Wrote local government reports, designed surveys, applied for local permits, and organized and analyzed data.-Resulted in 2 refereed journal publications. Another publication pending.

-Assisted with Spotted-wing Drosophila survey in Dr. Kent Daane's laboratory. -Raised and maintained grapevines for monitoring of red blotch and leaf roll viruses.-Collected, identified and recorded various Drosophila species from agricultural fields in northern California.-Set and collected apple cider vinegar traps in agricultural fields in northern California.

-Assisted Dr. Justin Brashares' graduate student Briana Abrahms in her project titled: "Understanding the Impacts of Human Disturbance on the African Large Carnivore Guild"-Used R Code to analyse Abrahms' Botswana data illustrating Lion, Cheetah, and Wild Dog distances from roads. -Conducted literature searches

-Managed experiments to determine the egg-laying capacity of Cycad Blue Butterfly (Chilades pandava) individuals reared from different Cycad (Cycas) species substrates. -Resulted in 2 refereed journal publications.

-Project titled: "Are Kenyan fish part Hippo?: Stable Isotope Analysis of Labeo sp. nov. mzima Vertebrae." Supervisors: Dr. Justin Brashares and Dr. Douglas McCauley-Performed Stable Isotope Analysis on Carp vertebrae to visualize potential ecological impacts of loss of hippo dung as a food source.-Resulted in a research paper that was presented to 40 peers and researchers.

-Assisted with Dr. Justin Brashares' "California Giant Kangaroo Rat Conservation Project"-Performed data queries and organization, GIS map work, field data collection and computer entry, literature searches, soil sample analysis, and edited data and analysis sheets
