Project Utthan aims to enhance adolescent health outcomes by collaborating with the government. The project will leverage existing strengths, work with authorities to improve scheme implementation, build capacities, and implement innovative pilots. It aims to enhance adolescent health by increasing knowledge on gender and reproductive health, promoting compliance with health supplements, and improving access to mental health services.Role -The Training and Capacity Building Expert is pivotal for the success of Project Utthan, contributing to the development of tailored training programs for advancing adolescent health. Responsibilities include conducting training at various levels, promoting innovative practices, and collaborating with stakeholders at state, district, and block levels to enhance knowledge on adolescent health issues. Support the creation of comprehensive training programs, gain expertise in adolescent health themes, align with existing training mechanisms, and provide hands-on support to enhance personnel capacity in adolescent health programming.

1. Supports Director, Deputy Directors, and other senior management in effective planning, implementation and monitoring of Nurse Mentoring Program, LaQshya, Facility based newborn care and trainings2. Designing tools, case studies, success stories around Quality Improvement.

1. Lead role in designing quality improvement (QI) processes to improve the quality of MNCH Care.2. Introduce tools to improve the quality of RMNCH services in all intervention facilities of UP.3. Capacity building of nurse mentors, district and zonal specialist in conducting mentoring, OSCE, principles of Quality Improvement and program science.4. Support the Director and Team leader in designing, piloting and scaling up of the MNCH intervention5. Work closely with Govt. Counterparts esp. GM-MH and CH, Nursing Cell and GM training to coordinate various nurse mentoring related activities.6. Oversee establishment, replenishment, procurement and maintenance of Mini skill labs.7. Support Director / Team Leader in preparing work-plan, develop activity budgets and implementation of work plan by assisting in designing, tracking and monitoring of program activities.8. Facilitate project activities including trainings, on-site coaching, workshop planning, logistics planning and management and other activity support to ensure smooth implementation.9. Lead the program team to develop and produce documents like situation analysis reports, assessment reports, success stories, gap analysis plans, procurement plans.10. Support in documentation of project results, successes, challenges and lessons learned11. Work with Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) team to establish systems for tracking progress.

Provide techno managerial support to health department for using the routine and concurrent monitoring data for periodic program review and corrective actions and Improving the quality and use of HMIS/MCTS 7. Provide support in development of Divisional & District Health Action Plans (DAP), PIP & review processes.8. Provide strategic and analytical support to the consortium to identify key challenges and opportunities for improving the RMNCH+A indicators in division.9. Proposal writing, developing tools and framework for new strategies.10. Supervision & Management of District Technical Specialist and Nurse Mentors Team.
