• Serve as the official spokesperson for ASWSUTC, advocating for student interests and concerns. • Responsible for supervising Directors and staff of ASWSUTC • Supervise all ASWSUTC programs and activities under the direction of the Senate. • Represent student interests to external entities such as the State Legislature, Governor, Higher Education Coordinating Board, and local government.

The Judicial Board is charged with making sure all ASWSUTC Officers are following the Constitution and By-Laws. In this role, I have the power to hold hearings to keep officers accountable for their actions. The Justices also plan and oversee the general election as well as special and recall elections, if needed.

The Student Entertainment Board (SEB) is WSU Tri-Cities’ student-run programming board, funded by Services and Activities (S&A) Fees. In this role, I am able to provide high quality programming and experiences for WSUTC students. The board is composed of students who work hard to provide quality programs and a great Coug experience.

The Science Laboratory Prep Assistant work with science faculty and the Biology and Chemistry Lab Coordinators to maintain, organize, prepare, and clean up materials for science labs at WSUTC.Specific responsibilities include:- Set up and take down science labs- Make video recordings or other presentations of activities for virtual labs (if needed)- Organize and monitor supplies and equipment for science teaching labs.- Prepare reagents and biological cultures for science labs under the direction of the supervisor.- Maintain living organisms used in biology labs. This might include work in the greenhouse.- Organize and monitor equipment and supplies in the greenhouse; help with regular greenhouse maintenance.- Dispose of chemical and biological waste following appropriate protocols under the guidance of the supervisor.- Clean teaching labs and prep rooms, including washing glassware and other laboratory supplies- Other duties as assigned

While serving as an ambassador during the Spring 2023 semester, I was able to build skillsets employers want in college graduates, such as teamwork, communication, creativity and time management. I had the opportunity to build community and relationships with other ambassadors and my mentors while researching topics that impact our community and the world. Industry mentors will work with you ambassador teams to research and communicate equitable solutions around energy and climate. Together with your mentors, you will explore topics such as impacts of energy sources, public policy, industry opportunities and community leadership. This network will provide unique access to industry professionals’ mentorship and potential inclusion in career-related industry opportunities (e.g. marketing/outreach/business services, engineering, IT, earth sciences).
